The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning electric truck will cost anywhere from $39,974 to upwards of $95,000 with every available option, plus a $1,695 destination charge 

The F-150 Lightning will be powered by dual electric motors from either an Extended-Range battery or Standard-Range battery 

DEARBORN, Mich., April 26, 2022 – Today marks the launch of the all-new, electric F-150 Lightning pickup – a milestone moment in America's shift to electric vehicles.  

Ford claims that the F-150 Lightning will offer up to 300 miles of range with the Extended Range battery and 230 miles on the Standard Range pack

Starting at the base Pro level with the standard-range battery, the 2022 F-150 Lightning has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $39,974, plus a destination charge

Ford halted its EV Lightning pickup truck reservations at 200,000 because of manufacturing concerns 

Ford has stopped taking reservations for the all-electric F-150 Lightning as it prepares to start making and shipping the new pickup truck in the first half of 2022 

The Lightning comes standard with 4WD thanks to electric motors in the front and back, skidplates for off-roading 

The F-150 Lightning can accept up to 150 kW, and Ford estimates a 15% to 80% charge time of 41 minutes for Lightning with the extended range battery pack
