Luxury carmaker Bugatti has revealed its latest offering La Voiture Noire. The fancy machine that costs $13.4 million took as many as 65,000 engineering hours to get completed. The upcoming offering is based on the Bugatti Chiron.

Powering this stealth machine is a 16-cylinder, 8-liter beast of an engine, capable of 1,479 horsepower. It can scorch pavement from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. Additionally, the top speed for the Bugatti La Voiture Noire is estimated at 260 mph or 161.55 km/h.
So, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire has two major factors that give it its exorbitant price tag – its handcrafted carbon-fiber body and hefty engine. And besides these two, the extreme attention to detail does count for something, right?
